Description
Massimiliano M. Villone was born in Naples (Italy) on the 7th of January 1987. He obtained his Bachelor, Master, and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II. After the PhD, he has been Post-Doc researcher at the Center for Advanced Biomaterials for Health Care of the Italian Institute of Technology for two years. He is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical, Materials, and Manufacturing Engineering of the University of Naples Federico II. During his career, he has been Visiting Researcher at the Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden). His research activities mainly focus on the numerical simulation of the flow behavior of multiphase systems of interest in the field of soft matter science and technology. He holds courses of statistics, numerical simulation, and nonlinear systems for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Naples Federico II.
