The SoftComp/EUSMI Annual Meeting 2024 will take place from
May 21 – 24 in Lyon, France.

Our Annual Meeting 2024 features the special topic Sustainable Soft Matter.

In our Annual Meeting 2024 we will celebrate the SoftComp 20th Anniversary.

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of SoftComp is a significant milestone in the journey of our Consortium. Established in 2004 thanks to an EU grant, SoftComp has been at the forefront of fostering collaboration, innovation, and advancement in the interdisciplinary realm of soft matter physics, chemistry, and biology, worldwide. Through its conferences, workshops, publications, and networking opportunities, in the last two decades SoftComp has played a pivotal role in bringing together scientists, researchers, and experts from diverse backgrounds to explore the fundamental properties and applications of soft materials.

Moreover, SoftComp has actively promoted education and outreach initiatives, inspiring the next generation of scientists to pursue careers in soft matter research.

Happy 20th anniversary to SoftComp!

The meeting consists of three full days from Tuesday May 21 (lunch time) through Friday May 24 (lunch time), 2024. The meeting is a forum to discuss scientific work, to network, and to initiate future projects in any Soft Matter fields.

The Annual Meeting Chair is Prof. Dr. Stephan Förster (Forschungszentrum Jülich).
