As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, my research focuses on encapsulating bioactives within colloidal and biopolymer-based complex systems. I aim to engineer and optimize these systems for targeted delivery of bioactive compounds by characterizing biopolymer complexes, efficiently loading bioactives, and studying release kinetics during digestion. Through a multidisciplinary approach integrating materials science, chemistry, and bioengineering, I seek to develop highly efficient delivery vehicles capable of enhancing bioavailability and controlling release profiles. Ultimately, my goal is to translate these findings into practical solutions addressing challenges in food bioactive delivery and nutritional supplementation, contributing to advancements in both academia and industry.
