A PDRA post is available from 1 July 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter, for a period of 12 months to work in association with Dr Richard Thompson on a National Formulation Centre (NFC) funded project. The project is a new collaboration between Durham University and Imperial College London, to develop new methods for characterising and forecasting instability in complex structured fluid formulations. The project will operate in close collaboration with the NFC and industrial partners (BP and P&G) with the emphasis on understanding the influence of flow (shear & extensional) on stability.
