We are announcing the opening of a 2-year post-doc position, starting as soon as
possilbe, at the Deparment of Molecular Sciences and Biosystems of the Ca’
Foscari University in Venice with Prof. Flavio Romano.

The scientific project, funded by a SPIN call (www.unive.it/spin) concerns the
development of coarse grained models of DNA and proteins.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in statistical mechanics and
simulations. She or he should have obtained or should be about to obtain a PhD
in Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline and have experience with  coding
in C/C++ and Python. Applications from researchers without post-doctoral
experience are encouraged.

The salary will be at European standards (~1800 Euros/month take-home).
