The 20th European Student Colloid Conference (ESC 2026) will take place in Donostia / San Sebastián (Spain) from 29 June to 2 July 2026.

ESC is a conference organized by and for PhD students, offering a supportive space to present research, exchange ideas, and connect with peers. A strong social program will complement the scientific sessions and foster informal discussions and networking.

• Abstract submission deadline: 2 March 2026
• Registration deadline: 15 May 2026

Carlos L. Bassani (FAU Erlangen–Nürnberg)

Martin F. Haase (Utrecht University)
Reidar Lund (University of Oslo)

In addition, we have invited dedicated career talks:

Lisa Tran (Utrecht University) will speak about building a research group in academia.
Baptiste Hervé (L’Oréal) will share insights on developing a career in industry.

The scientific program will include oral and poster contributions covering colloids, soft matter, polymers, and bioinspired systems.
