SUMMARY:24th JCNS Laboratory Course Neutron Scattering
DESCRIPTION:Juelich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS) is happy to announce that\napplication is open for the 24th Laboratory Course Neutron Scattering\ntaking place August 31 – September 11\, 2020 in Juelich and\nGarching/Munich\, Germany. \nThe course will consist of one week of lectures and exercises and one\nweek of practical training at the neutron scattering facilities of\nHeinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum MLZ. It is the aim of the course to give\na realistic insight into the experimental technique and its scientific\npower. \nStudents of physics\, chemistry\, materials science and biosciences are\ninvited to apply for participation. There is no tuition fee.\nAccommodation and meals during the course will be provided by JCNS.\nTravel expenses will be reimbursed within reasonable limits. \nFor further information and to apply for participation please visit\nour website \nwww.neutronlab.de \nDeadline for application is May 10\, 2020. \nWe are looking forward to welcoming you in Juelich and Garching!
